About Éire Óg

Éire Óg GAC is a vibrant and active sporting club located in Craigavon (Irish : Creag Abhann or Cathair Nua (New City) in the North of Ireland..  The club was established in 1969, with a strong focus on promotingGaelic games, Cultúr Na hÉireann within the local community. Over the years, Éire Óg has become a cornerstone of the community, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together and enjoy Gaelic games.

The club has a proud history of success, with numerous championship titles and trophies to their name. Éire Óg’s commitment to excellence both on and off the field has seen them develop a reputation as one of the best Gaelic clubs in the area. Their dedicated coaching staff and passionate players work tirelessly to ensure that the club continues to thrive and grow, providing a positive impact on the lives of all those involved.

In addition to our sporting activities, Éire Óg is  heavily involved in community outreach and fundraising initiatives. They host a range of events throughout the year, from family fun days to charity runs, which help to raise funds for local causes and promote community spirit. What a day for our U10 Girls at our first official Hub of 2026. They represented the club so well with their teamwork, effort, determination and fantastic attitudes throughout the day.We are extremely proud of every single one of them. They played with great spirit, encouraged each other constantly and gave it their all from start to finish. As coaches we were absolutely delighted 🧡💚And for our club to field 4 teams of u10 girls is such an achievement. Thank you to the parents for all your support. Let’s keep it up for the rest of the season!
